Healthcare Website Design
A healthcare website needs to help a person find the right service, location and next step without asking them to disclose sensitive medical information in a general marketing form. For a Texas practice, start with the actual services offered, the areas served and the staff member responsible for keeping those facts accurate. We scope website design; we do not provide clinical care or claim a Texas office.
Separate marketing enquiries from patient information
Map the difference between a public enquiry, appointment request, patient portal and emergency contact. A general contact form should not become an improvised clinical intake system. Identify who receives each message, which platform stores it and what information is necessary. Existing portal integrations and legal/security obligations need separate review; an attractive page is not evidence of HIPAA compliance.
Make important decisions easier on a phone
Put service eligibility, location, accessibility information, opening hours and the next action where a visitor can find them. Review contrast, keyboard focus, form labels and the way errors are explained. Avoid inaccessible text embedded in images. Test the real appointment journey, including the third-party destination, rather than stopping at a successful button click.
Publish facts that the practice can substantiate
Clinical qualifications, insurance information, service availability and patient testimonials need approval from the practice. Do not invent review scores, clinical outcomes or provider credentials. Decide who checks this information at handoff and how the CMS will flag content for review when services change.
Scope integrations and launch proof
The written brief should identify page counts, the appointment platform, access boundaries, content ownership and acceptance tests. Third-party subscriptions, portal integration and ongoing support are separate cost lines. Before launch, check enquiry routing, broken links, redirects and which pages should be indexed. We can publish verified project evidence later; the design concepts shown elsewhere are not healthcare client results.
