Website Maintenance Services in Canada
Keep your website useful after launch.
Let’s discuss your project ↗When this is the right investment
Maintenance is useful when a live website needs controlled updates, a clear issue queue and someone responsible for routine checks. It should reduce uncertainty about what happens after launch. It is not a promise that every request or emergency is included.
How we shape the work
We establish the site’s technology, access arrangements, dependencies and known issues before agreeing a maintenance scope. Work is prioritised in a visible queue. Updates that can affect customer journeys should be reviewed in a safe environment with a recovery approach.
What to check before sign-off
Look for evidence that the changed workflow still works, not just a note saying an update was installed. Backup verification, representative page checks and clear release notes make maintenance inspectable. Agree how faults are reported and who can approve urgent changes.
Decisions that change the scope
Response windows, monitoring, hosting support and out-of-hours work need separate agreement. Major redesigns, new integrations and unsupported legacy components may fall outside routine maintenance. Third-party outages cannot be prevented by an update contract, although recovery responsibilities can be clarified.
A journey before a layout
Start with the customer’s task: compare an offer, understand the work or make an enquiry. We connect navigation, page hierarchy and calls to action so the visual design supports that task.
How this applies to your project
Scoped updates, backup verification, bug triage and a transparent maintenance queue. The final brief identifies the page, asset or workflow count, the inputs you provide and the test used to accept each deliverable.
A handoff your team can use
Your content inventory, component rules and editor walkthrough belong in the delivery—not in an undocumented conversation. Accessibility, device testing and launch responsibilities are agreed before sign-off.
Canada delivery considerations
For Canadian projects, confirm whether English, French or both customer journeys are needed. Package billing currencies are explicit; the six main website tiers remain USD. Confirm CAD proposals separately; GST/HST, provincial requirements, consent and accessibility review are scoped with your business rather than assumed.
